Bryan Health, a non-profit, locally owned & governed healthcare organization with over 5,000 caregivers, announces an exceptional opportunity for a progressive health care executive to serve as President of Bryan Health Connect based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Bryan Health Connect, a physician-led Physician Hospital Organization (PHO), offers a clinically and financially-integrated, high-quality, cost-effective network of providers to insurers and patients. Bryan Health Connect membership’s primary care providers and specialists serve patients across Nebraska and into Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota. With an 11% membership increase in 2019, Bryan Health Connect consists of over 1,400 members today. In 2017, Bryan Health Connect established an Accountable Care Organization whose members are working together towards clinical integration, population health and success in value-based health care delivery.
Following a successful 2019 and the promotion of the former President, Bryan Health Connect is poised for continued growth under the direction of this new leader. The President will be an instrumental strategic leader able to leverage the existing platform and advance Bryan Health Connect as an innovative network providing the best care to the communities served by their members. Key priorities for the President will be to continue to refine BHC’s strategic goals and tactics to ensure membership value and continued forward growth, guide the ACO in efforts to be successful in all its contracts, advise and facilitate the acquisition of advanced data analytics and informatics infrastructure to perfect data reporting and bring meaningful information to affect population health improvements, and partner with members to identify and implement strategies that improve quality, service and cost of care delivered across the network.
An employee of Bryan Health, the President will have dual reporting relationship to the BHC Board of Trustees, Bryan Health ACO Board and Bryan Health system Vice President, Finance/Chief Financial Officer. The President will also be responsible for providing leadership, direction and support in development and management of the day-to-day operations of the BHC Accountable Care Organization.
Successful candidates will have at least five years of progressive leadership experience in in a hospital-based organization with managed care experience, a physician group practice PHO, or ACO. A track record of success in identifying and implementing operational and fiscal value-based strategies that advance quality and service outcomes while reducing the cost of care. Preferred expertise in contract negotiations, provider relations and advancing care management practices that align with reducing costs of care. An advanced degree in business or health care administration is required.
