The Lead Financial Analyst - Total Cost of Care provides financial modeling, analysis, and insights to support the organizations Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). Under the direction of the Finance Director-EPMO, this position will partner with key stakeholders to evaluate Total Cost of Care initiatives and provide timely, relevant, and accurate financial measurement and reporting to the EPMO and key stakeholders.
Serves as a subject matter expert for Finance and operational stakeholders in matters relating to Total Cost of Care
Performs complex predictive financial modeling and evaluates opportunities for identified care maps, clinical variation reduction, revenue cycle, supply chain, value-based contracting, and other Total Cost of Care EPMO initiatives
Partners with data analytics, payer contracting, population health, and operational leadership to understand, model, and develop financial reporting around financial impacts of EPMO initiatives
Serves as a key partner in the development and standardization of measurement and reporting around Total Cost of Care and EPMO initiatives
Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or other related area of study
5+ years of finance experience in health plan or health care financial analysis
2+ years of experience supporting value-based care, population health, payer contracting, and/or total cost of care in a hospital or health plan environment
Strong understanding of relational databases and ability to synthesize significant amounts of financial and operating data into concise and actionable information
Understanding of health care reimbursement in both fee-for-service, managed care and risk-sharing models
Ability to build relationships with key finance and operations stakeholders
Master of Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree or working towards that degree
Experience working with PowerBI, SQL, or other data analytics tools
