The Sales Leader, PBM will manage all PBM sales related activities, including prospecting, qualifying, lead generation, timely follow up, managing a sales pipeline, managing various distribution models, and closing sales opportunities. You will also work with senior leadership to develop and achieve the established sales and revenue growth goals and objectives across our PBM service offering.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Establish strong working relationships with external brokers, consultants, and prospective plan sponsor clients.
Develop an active pipeline of opportunities and feed requests for proposals (RFPs) to downstream sales team.
Coordinate and manage all activity across matrixed organization during the sales and proposal process.
Make presentations to health plans, employers, brokers, and consultants to educate them on our pharmacy benefit management services.
Facilitate finalist meetings including development of key messaging, strategy and presentation.
Share learnings with colleagues on market dynamics and competitive landscape.
Skills & Requirements:
5 or more years of PBM or PBM consulting experience with a successful sales record required.
Possess convincing sales management skills.
Ability to build business alignments and partnerships both internally and externally.
Demonstrated substantial ability to communicate in an articulate and professional manner both in writing and through verbal presentation.
Ability to travel regularly.
