JOB SUMMARY: Applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of complicated patients, including meeting their complex teaching and continuum of care needs within the (VUAH) Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital. Effectively communicates pertinent information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Furthers professional growth by achieving a minimum of 10 contact hours annually.
PLANNING & MANAGING CARE
