Chief Health Care Officer The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) invites nominations and applications for the position of Chief Health Care Officer (CHCO). The AAMC is seeking a forward- thinking CHCO who will join the executive Leadership Team and report directly to the President and CEO, David J. Skorton, MD, a visionary and energetic leader who is deeply passionate and enthusiastic about the future of academic medicine and health care. The Chief Health Care Officer of the AAMC focuses on the intersection of academic medical centers and health care delivery systems and helps to lead innovations to improve care. The CHCO is responsible for all activities of the Health Care Affairs (HCA) cluster at the AAMC.
