The RN is an integral member of the Center for Pain Management and collaborates with all levels of physicians, nurses, and other health care staff in the management of patients with pain throughout the continuum of care, including but not limited to perioperative pain management, acute pain management, and chronic pain management. The incumbent reports directly to the VISN 21 Pain Consultant, in the Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care Service. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
