We are seeking a Physician - Medical Control Officer.Position Summary:The MultiCare Medical Control Officer Physician is responsible for providing safe and effective medical direction to determine the appropriate level of care and facility disposition for all patients entering into MultiCare inpatient or observation status, in partnership with the surgical/procedure teams at each IBU. The guiding principle is to ensure patient safety. This position has the complete decision-making authority to facilitate capacity management across our system. This includes supporting vetting of transfers within MultiCare hospitals and into MultiCare hospitals, facilitating patient progression through downgrades, providing medical direction for prioritization of patient placement into scarce resourc
