The RN’s primary role is to provide personalized patient care; support the provider’s practice by performance clinical duties and assisting in the coordination of patient care.  The RN’s communication, conduct and performance should support the clinics efforts. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Documents patient information in the electronic health record (EPIC) following standard work guidelines
• Assesses and triages patient care needs.  Suggests solutions to patient care problems & complaints
• Identifies & recommends solutions to departmental problems
• Assists in assessing departmental function and productivity & recommends changes as necessary
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and coordinates and carries out teaching plan
• Coordinates care for Heart Failure and general cardiology patients including telephone triage, advising and consultation with patients, nurse managed care coordination, patient/family education, and in office cardiovascular procedures
• Coordinates care across the continuum for specialty services internally and externally to manage heart failure complex care
• Manages care coordination with cardiomems patients and vendor representatives
• Demonstrates ability to carry out skills as outlined in nursing procedures for clinical areas worked including administration of prescribed medications & treatments in accordance with nursing standards and clinic policy
• Promotes positive, constructive approach to problem solving

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State Department of Health
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN
• 1+ years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of experience in telemetry or cardiac care
• 1+ years of experience in nephrology or dialysis

Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for Washington residents is $27.07 to $53.08. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
