About the Role
As the Head of Programs, you will lead a division focused on payers accounts and pharmacy network growth via participation in payer programs. You will have the opportunity to design, implement, and manage innovative clinical pharmacy programs and grow/support an extensive network of highly engaged pharmacies in order to achieve great patient outcomes. This role will be operations-focused with a heavy amount of client management.
You will be an integral part of the DocStation leadership team, collaborating with the VP of Operations on payer growth efforts as the clinical subject matter expert, the Product Manager to anticipate product needs to support current and future payer programs, the Director of Finance to build programs that align with DocStation financial needs and goals, and the Marketing Director to strategically coordinate marketing efforts with coinciding pharmacy legislation.
Responsibilities
Lead new program outreach, participating in RFI/RFPs, and contract renewals with insurance plans
Facilitate smooth transitions for new clients from sales to implementation to program launch to program management
Develop strategic plans for every account assigned to you with clearly delineated success metrics
Develop processes and improvements that will help our team be more effective, either internally or with our clients
Build relationships that will lead to long term partnerships with clients and stakeholders such as client program managers, analysts, IT personnel, actuaries, directors, and executives
Develop strategic plans for pharmacy engagement in order to maximize utilization and achieve goals for network participation
Direct recruitment efforts for participating pharmacies
Represent the voice of our client internally to ensure we deliver products and services that meet their needs
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of clinical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and program goals.

Understand engagement & outcomes reports and learn how to provide analytic support and insights
Communicate effectively in order to articulate important verbal and written messages

Requirements
Up to 25% travel
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Doctorate degree a plus
4+ years related experience, preferably in health care roles in account management, healthcare administration or operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related benefit products and services
Excellent communication and project management skills
